When closed it packs down flat with its wheels still accessible so it is easy to just slide into a trunk or a closet, or even under a table (as was the case in a couple of restaurants). The Trider Extreme has a simple motions for opening and closing, making it easy for my wife and I to get the stroller in and out of cars and get our baby going. The smoothness of the ride aside, the best feature on this stroller is ease of opening and closing.

The Trider Extreme has large wheels with an adjustable shock absorber in the back, which allows it to go over all types of terrain and give the ride that I want for my kid while I push him around. The look of the stroller is one thing, but when it comes to moving my kid around, functionality is key. In fact after about two months of use the stroller has become my domain, and if my wife and I are out together she gets almost no pushing time. With sleek lines and colors that are not garish, I felt that this was a stroller I could see myself using often. I would not say that the Trider Extreme is a masculine stroller, but definitely gender neutral. I have said on a number of occasions that things related to baby are marketed solely toward moms, and that as a dad I want something that I can see myself walking around with. As someone who had not done a lot of research into the equipment necessary to move an infant about, I started out with what I had seen in many of my trips to Babies ‘R’ Us and other stores. When I received the box, unpacked and put it together, I was first struck by the design. My wife and I got the Jané Trider Extreme stroller, with the LinkFit adapter for our car seat, in order to provide our newborn with seamless transfer from car to walking around.
